Brief Description:

Downey & Scott’s role for this project consisted of the pre-construction PPEA evaluation, life cycle cost analysis, cost engineering, value engineering as well as construction project and program management services.

 

This PPEA design-build project was a total of 35,000 GSF with a total project cost of $12,600,000. This new state-of-the-art emergency communications center and police headquarters included the integration of all communications systems technology, and five (5) acres of site development. Through careful planning, and multi-checklists/responsibility matrixes, the 911 system for the City of Fredericksburg was switched over without any loss of service.
