Loudoun Community Health Center, now called HealthWorks for Northern Virginia, provides quality medical, dental and behavioral health care services as well as specialty services such as: diabetes treatment, wellness and nutrition classes and a new breastfeeding center. They offer core health care services to anyone in need, regardless of age or ability to pay, whether they have insurance or not.
Downey & Scott provided cost estimating services for this new 28,000 GSF healthcare facility, which features eighteen (18) exam rooms, seven (7) dental offices, a mental health wing, optometry services and a community meeting space for health-related education.
This new medical center was made possible by an $8.7 million grant that Loudoun Commnunity Health Center (LCHC) received through the federal Health Care Reform Act, and will allow LCHC to expand their patient base by an additional 5,000.
